In this exercise we cover drawing a road over hills in 1 point perspective. Remember to think about a few things when drawing a road over hills. At what height is the point of view (laying, sitting, standing, flying etc). How far away are the hills in the distance, and what do your landmarks tell you about the relative size the road should be. Traveling on a flat surface makes the road go directly to the vanishing point, where as going up a hill slows the progress and keeps the lines a little more parallel because the road is going up and not as much out toward the vanishing point.
