In this exercise we start playing with 3D objects. Three important things to remember.
1. Things look 3d due to the appearance of light and shadow. That means that there has to be some sort of shadow and some sort of highlight to make it 3d, even if its subtle.
2. Transition values are important. There isn’t just light and dark, there is a middle ground as well. Make sure you connect your light and dark with a transitional value.
3. Reflected light is all around us. That means, sometimes, in a shadow there will be reflected light cast within it.

This is helping me to understand about how to create 3-D shapes. Thanks Tim. Very helpful.
